Nomads Festival

Going for its 8th edition, this electronic music festival was originally founded with love for music. This festival attracts likeminded people with love for underground DJs and producers. Expect house, techno, disco and funk at this party.

Kingsday is all about the celebration of the birthday of the King of the Netherlands. During this day there is a free market all over the suburban shopping area’s and in Amsterdam city, it’s many people gathering. Strolling to the city from one party to another with drinks. This day allows for public drinking (in Amsterdam at least). The canals of Amsterdam will be filled with party boats. If you plan to rent a boat to celebrate on the canals read about the special regulations for boats on Kingsday Basically this is a super big birthday party with so many parties all over the city

Liberation Day

On the 5th of May 1945, (the majority of) the Netherlands was liberated and the Nazis surrendered. May 4th at 8 pm there is a 2-minute silence to remember the fallen people during World War II. On the 5th the Dutch celebrate. The Dutch know how to party and this day they make it a party to celebrate freedom. With plenty of DJs and activities, this party goes from 11am to 11pm

Amsterdam Open Air

This music festival is a collaboration of friends and some companies like MTV and Club Air. Amsterdam Open Air has multiple areas set up in Gaasperpark for diversity in the electronic scene. Expect deep house, house, tech house, dubstep electro and much more. The video shows camping, but in the Amsterdam Open Air 2020, the 10th edition, there is no camping.

Guilty Pleasure Weekender

Six years in a row people come to this festival to enjoy guilty pleasure. Party the weekend or just on one of the days. Witness the spectacular acts and scream-a-long with any song that comes up. Guilty Pleasure takes place in Gaasperpark, enough space for this festivity.

Vunzige Deuntjes Festival

On the same date as Guilty Pleasure Weekender, this festival takes place in “Het Amsterdamse Bos”. Enjoy the funky tunes at different stages. Vunzige Deuntjes brings entertainment and music for you to make your dance moves like nobody is watching.

Milkshake Festival

Milkshake Festival is for everyone (18+). They emphasize the tolerance of Amsterdam gay, bi straight a-sexual. There is no judgement at Milkshake Festival. Party for 1 or 2 days with open-minded people at this festival.

Loveland Festival

With new promising rising talents, and famous performers, this Dutch Electronic, House Festival is for everyone that loves to party. The whole park is decorated stylishly. Want to go away a bit from the party scene, there are plenty of places to take a stroll and enjoy the view.

Dancevalley

With more than 25 epic parties, this is the festival comes with stage designs, flare and an experience you won’t forget. Any EDM lover will want to go to Dancevalley. This party offers different stages with different top DJs and performers to entertain you all day long.

Latin Village Festival

Salsa with a mix of (Latin) Dance. This party makes you look at one another. Seen and be seen, party with each other. Latin Village is a different kind of experience, one that is different than any other EDM festival. Culture, Party and a lot of fun.

Mysteryland

3 days of the party at Haarlemmermeer with hardstyle, house, electronic music. Camp out to attend all days, or join just 1 day. This party brought people from 100 different nations last year. Amsterdam dance event (ADE)

Amsterdam Dance Event is all over! with over 140 venues participating and 2500 artists. This is the leading dance event in Amsterdam. In 2019 more than 400000 people came to party at different locations. Since there are so many locations you should do some research on their website which parties you want to join. Also, it can be very full. This

Amsterdam Music Festival

This is the biggest venue Amsterdam has to offer, the Arena will shake during this EDM festival. Not only the biggest venue in the Netherlands but also this is the biggest EDM party. This party takes place only during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

Appelsap Fresh Music Festival

Appelsap brings Dutch talent entertainment to bring the best Hiphop, Grime, R&B and electronic. From a small party now to a big festival this party has been around for 20 years now.
