What is required to visit Bali after May 2020

Bali is accepting incoming travellers again. You can come in by sea, land or air as of 28th of May. If you want to enter Bali again there are some extra requirements you would need. This is to take steps to increase the safety of other yourself, tourists and locals.

Application form to enter Bali

You would need to fill in a form, which happens online. You can find the form here at cekdiri.baliprov.go.id. It’s available in English and Bahasa. Make sure to choose the language first and then choose “data collection for foreigners”. For locals, they would need to choose “Data on Indonesian Citizen”.

To complete this form you would need results of the Certificate of Lab / Health Test. Besides that, you would need to fill in where you have been in the last 14 days and if you have any complaints now (like fever, cough etc).

After this you will get an unique QR-code. This QR-code is for those who completed the form to enter Bali.

Visitors coming in via airplane

For those coming in Bali via airplane need to have a valid COVID-19 negative certificate. This is from a PCR test (Polymerase Chain Reaction), and should be given from a government hospital laboratory or a COVID-19 Task Force designated laboratory. This test result is only valid for 7 days from the moment of time of arrival.

Visitors coming by land or sea

Are you coming in by land or sea then you need the negative COVID-19 test result? This is also given by an authority, government, health department. The result is also valid for 7 days.

Take note that the test results are valid for 7 days.
