If you are looking for a nice getaway from the busy areas, then Candidasa is a great choice. With nearby beaches, activities, and views you will explore Bali in a more calm and relaxed way.
For accommodations, I will try to keep the following in mind for each type: Low, medium and high budget. I will list recommendations from other tourists in order to help you find a hotel or place to stay in Candidasa.

Hôtel Ganesh Lodge
This Hotel in Candidasa offers rooms from 585k – 1 million IDR. A standard room has 20m2 and the superior room gives you a space of 34 m2. The views are either to the mountain or to the pool. The beach of Candidasa is very close, walking distance of 100 meters only.

Look at that room. Big windows, a view at the ocean. Wake up to this priceless experience. The hotel comes with a swimming pool, access to the beach. The rooms vary from 32m2 to 54m2. The prices go from 900k-1.6M IDR.
It’s a great getaway for some romance! The location is only excellent. In the evening you can see the fishermen return on the beach.

Great for families and couples. This resort as it mentions “eco” is friendly to the environment. Staying at this resort makes you forget all the other things around you. This place feels like a good vacation.

Alila Manggis
Alila is a (high-end) luxury chain of hotels. In the past, Alila Manggis has received 3 awards for sustainability. Safe to say they are doing a great effort. Example of it would be the coral reef conservation, recycling program, and zero waste policy.
They have 3 rooms: Superior (34m2, garden view), Deluxe (32m2, ocean view), and a suite 114m2 with ocean view. This resort is great for couples and families to relax and enjoy luxury.
If you are looking for a venue to host a wedding or big party in Candidasa then Alila Manggis is a great choice.

Going up a notch? Villas often have that wow factor in Bali. Great for that extra romantic getaway or spoiling yourself and the family. From Beachfront villa’s to some more private, these are the best of Candidasa.
Villa Manis
A private villa with staff. The building is 760 m2, the land 2100m2. An amazing experience for groups or bigger families. This villa is best for 6-12 people. Experience some of the most luxuries.
The staff is available from 7 am to 8 pm attending your needs, cleaning what needs to be cleaned and cooking your breakfast. Let your villa manager know if you want more privacy.

Hostel in Candidasa
If you are traveling on a low budget a hostel or homestay is a perfect solution. This is great if you plan to spend most of the time out doing a tour.
Sleepy croc hostel
Great for backpacking through Bali. This Hostel has 2 Dormitories. One female only and one mixed. Each room has 8 beds. The hostel has a swimming pool and a live band for music on Saturdays.
Great value as it is only 115k per person per night. Meet like-minded travelers in Candidasa easy here.

Excellent places to stay in Candidasa
A budget homestay or hostel or a luxurious hotel. If you want my advice then if you can afford it, why not spoil yourself. But if you can afford it but you know you will be there only to sleep then take something simpler.
