I want to take a moment to talk about a hot topic: travel to Bali without vaccination in 2023. In these times of change, it is important to stay up to date with the latest travel information. I also regularly get this question online before people want to come. Bali, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, has reopened its doors to international travelers. But what does this mean for those who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19?
Travel to Bali without vaccination
Good news for those who have not been vaccinated against the coronavirus! Since June 9, 2023, it is no longer necessary to be vaccinated to travel to Bali. This means you can now enjoy beautiful beaches, rich culture and delicious food of Bali even if you are not vaccinated. But remember, although vaccination is not mandatory, it is recommended. You can still catch it! (source: Bali Travel Regulations Update | Requirements visiting Bali)
Please note that when you fly to Bali, the airline will also accept you without vaccination (if you do not have one).
Preparation
Now that you know you can travel to Bali without vaccination, it’s time to plan your trip. Although vaccination is not mandatory, there are still other things to consider. Make sure you have all the necessary documents with you, such as your passport and any medicine passport/documents if you require those. Don’t forget to purchase travel insurance that provides coverage for Covid-19 related issues. also read about preparing for Bali.
No more vaccinations required to enter Bali! When/If that changes I’ll try to update it here.
